"NHS 106 Miles" fundraising campaign

12 Jan 2021

Very well done to Yiming in Year 9 who commenced a 106 mile running challenge last weekend.

He started his "NHS 106 Miles" campaign with the first 3 miles on Saturday and plans to run a total 106 miles, running 3 miles a day, before the end of lockdown to raise money for the National Health Service 'NHS Charities Together' during critical times.

He has specifically decided to run 106 miles because he wants to thank all 10.6 million key workers in the UK who have helped to keep the country moving with their heroic efforts along with their determination. This means each mile he runs, represents his thanks to 100,000 key workers!

You can donate to the campaign via his just giving page here:

or support it by following @nhs106mi on Instagram

Yiming will post updates frequently on both pages, mostly on Instagram. As of 11th January he has completed 6 miles out of 106 - 5.7% - well done Yiming!
