In the event a student experiences difficulties there is a qualified counsellor who comes into school on Wednesdays between 9am-3pm (Room L3 upstairs in the Humanities block).
Students are able to meet with Mark Sheldon and discuss things confidentially with him. School Counselling offers a student who is experiencing difficulties an opportunity at school to feel supported in a quiet, safe, confidential setting.
Please note that in the event there is a serious Child Protection issue disclosed the relevant staff will be informed (with the knowledge of the student) and parents will usually be contacted the same day.
Mark is a BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) accredited counsellor and is happy for students or parents to contact him via email.
