Teacher of History

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational graduate to join us as Teacher of History, with the opportunity to teach up to the highest academic levels.  The Humanities Faculty has considerable examination and university success, with students regularly gaining places to read History, Classics, Economics, Geography and many closely related courses at top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.

This position would suit a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher looking to broaden their teaching experience.

Saturday Site Team position

We are looking to recruit additional resource in a paid position to help cover the site on Saturdays. There are two regular “shifts”, one from 08.00 to 13.00 for which the pay is £50.00 and another from 13.00 to 18.00 for which the pay is £60.00. There is no commitment for regular dates but a willingness to help to provide cover on occasion would be of great value.

Vacancy for Technician for Design Technology Department

A part-time vacancy has arisen at St Olave’s for a Technician for the Design Technology Department. A detailed description of the role is attached. Relevant technical skills or qualifications and experience are essential.

The hours are essentially full-time during School terms (38 weeks pa) plus ideally a few further days for preparation before the start of each term.

The salary for the position is around £16,000 FTE.
