The current Year 10 have moved from four forms to five, with new tutors and Head of Year, they will remain with them for the next two years. This change allows the tutor groups to be smaller and provides opportunity for more one-to-one support during the latter years of KS4. This change will not happen moving forwards as this reorganisation will occur in Year 9.
As well as the tutor, the Head of Year and Assistant Head (Pastoral) are proactive in offering monitoring and guidance to students. The School Chaplain and our on-site Bromley Y Counsellors are also available to all students for additional mentoring.
Students have an induction day at the beginning of Year 10 to ease the transition from Year 9 into Year 10, which includes team-building exercises to help students in the new tutor groups integrate.
