Artist of the Week

Eric in Year 8

Year 8 concluded the first half term with the challenge of producing a proportionate pencil portrait! There were many excellent examples but Eric has been selected as artist of the week for meeting the success criteria and creating such a good likeness. Year 8 will continue to explore the different ways artists create portraits including digital work and collage.

Creative Adventures Over Half Term

During the half term break, our Year 7 and 8 students were encouraged to visit an art gallery or museum and let their creativity shine. A big shout-out to Jax, Sai, Ammar, Lakshit, Robin, Hari, Darsh, Goktug, Aditya, and Aaryan for embracing the challenge and showing such wonderful curiosity. Well done!
