Open Evening: 2027 Entry

Our Year 7 Open Evening will be held on Thursday 25 June 2026, 3:30pm - 7:30pm

This event (aimed primarily at those with boys in the current Year 5 at primary school) is open for all to attend to take a look around the school and have a tour.

Headteacher’s Talks:

The Headteacher will be speaking at 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm in the Great Hall and, due to demand, these talks will require tickets for entry.

Please ensure that you book a ticket per person wishing to attend the talk (not just 1 ticket per group attending). There will be a maximum of 6 tickets available per individual booking:

Student led Tours:

There will be ongoing student led tours of the school available until 7pm at the very latest. These tours do not require any pre-booking or ticket.

Parking / Arrival:

Please allow plenty of time to arrive at the event. There will be a certain amount of parking on site but this may fill up quickly. Please therefore plan your journey in advance to allow enough time as you may need to park well away from the school and complete the rest of your journey on foot.

We recommend walking in via the Park Avenue entrance and taking the path all the way up to the main school on arrival. This is also the closest entrance to the town centre. Walking on Goddington Lane is not recommended due to there being no pavements and several bends.

In order to be considerate to our local neighbours we politely ask that you do not park obstructively, or across local residential driveways. There will be parking restrictions in place on Goddington Lane (and some of the surrounding roads/closes that lead off Goddington Lane) and Park Avenue, along with traffic enforcement officers.
