Year 12 Introduction Day:

Following the Government announcement on Tuesday 14 June confirming a pause at Step 3 restrictions for 4 weeks and due the restrictions on large group gatherings under Step 3 of the road map to recovery,  in the interest of public safety we have reluctantly had to CANCEL this event. This is because restrictions advised by the Local Authority make the event impossible to run.

During these unprecedented times, we are sorry not to be able to welcome our incoming Yr 12 cohort in person after all. 

We hope to hold induction events for students at the school at the beginning of September and will also hold an induction webinar on Wednesday 30th June at 1.30pm. (please see your email for link). Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about the Sixth Form during this.

Bridging work will be provided via the school website from Thursday 24th June and will need to be completed for the start of term in September.

Appeals For those who do not meet the requirements for admission following a conditional offer - Entry Sep 2021
You have the right to appeal under the Schools Standards and Framework Act 1998. Any appeals must be made in writing and addressed to the Independent Appeals Clerk c/o St. Olave's Grammar School, Goddington Lane, Orpington, Kent BR6 9SH or via no later than Tuesday 24 August 2021. Any hearings will take place as soon as possible from Tuesday 31 August 2021 to enable those successful appellants to start as early as possible into the school year in September.
