The Governing Body is the admission authority for the School and is therefore responsible for admissions.
As a designated State Grammar School we select pupils purely on the basis of high academic performance in our Entrance Tests.
Our main points of entry are in Year 7 and Year 12. In addition, up to 4 places are available annually via the Wakeham Choristership Scheme. Only on rare occasions a vacancy may arise ‘In-Year’. Further information can be found via the sub-menus.
In the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, a variation to the Admission Arrangements for September 2021 is set out in the following downloadable document:
Open Day Events
We usually hold two events each year for prospective pupils.
- Our Open Morning for perspective Year 7 boys and their parents/carers is held in June.
- Our Co-Educational Sixth Form Open Evening for external applicants is held in November.
Due to the current Covid -19 social distancing restrictions announced on Tuesday 14th June 2021, we have reluctantly had to cancel our planned Open day events for Prospective Year 7 families (2022 Entry) and instead invite you to view our Virtual Tour and Virtual events via the following link:
