Fundraising 50km ultramarathon for UCLH Children Cancer Appeal

Very well done indeed to our Yani, a member of our teaching staff who completed her first ultramarathon of 50km in the Kent Downs last weekend in a time of 09:14:02 hours to raise money for the UCLH Children's Cancer Appeal and in doing so, making life a little more comfortable for children and young people facing such a difficult diagnosis.

UCLH treats more than half of all children in England receiving radiotherapy. Families travel hundreds of miles for the expertise of its teams, but the hospital environment where these very sick children spend so much of their time desperately needs updating to match the world-class care they receive.
