Autumn Term Concert - 2026

On the evening of Wednesday 14th October the Music Department hosted the Autumn Term Concert in the Great Hall. The concert featured very enjoyable and inspiring performances from Years 7-12 playing in a variety of genres.

Concert Band began the evening's entertainment with "Great Movie Adventures", a John Williams medley. Two lower solo piano items were presented, by Martin in Year 7 and Carey in Year 8, playing Scarlatti and Hishaishi. Year 12 band, comprised of Pranit, Vian and Debaditya treated us to a memorable cover of Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way".

String Group played "The Flop-Eared Mule" in a spirited style, Improvisation Ensemble performed a lively version of Rollins' "Sonnymoon for TW" and Guitar Ensemble closed the concert with "Simple Gifts".

Our sincere thanks, as ever, go to all our talented performers, the Music perfects Becca and Ademiyo for their help with stage changes, our dedicated ensemble coaches Mr Blew, Mr Bullard and Mr Robinson and the audience for their continued support at school music events.
