DofE Practice Expeditions - Oct '26

During the October half-term break, our Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award participants successfully completed their practice expeditions in Ashdown Forest and the High Weald. Gold students tackled a demanding four-day, three-night expedition, while Silver participants completed three days and two nights of hiking, navigation and camping.

Carrying all of their own equipment, students demonstrated impressive resilience, teamwork and independence as they navigated through the countryside and overcame challenges along the way. The experience has provided valuable preparation for their qualifying expedition in the New Forest during the Easter holidays.
