BPhO Senior and Intermediate Physics Challenges
This week, 34 Year 12 students and 30 Year 11 students took part in the British Physics Olympiad Senior / Intermediate Challenges. These are a series of very difficult competitions for Physicists of all ages.
All students took part in their own time and managed to navigate the tricky online platform extremely well! We are thrilled to report the following results:
Senior Challenge:
All Year 12 participants achieved a graded award. 12 students managed to achieve a Gold award which puts them in the top 15% of physicists in the country! A further 16 achieved Silver which is testament to their hard work and dedication to their studies.
Intermediate Challenge:
Year 11 St. Olave’s students also performed fantastically well in their Intermediate Challenge, and again all who took part achieved a graded award. Of the Intermediate Physicists, 17 students managed to achieve a Gold award which puts them in the top 18% of physicists in the country!
