Science Communication Competition

Very well done to three of our Olavians who took part in last night's Science Communication Competition.

Ajay (Yr 8) , Aryan (Yr 10) and Sophie (Yr 12) competed in the grand finale of the "Science Snippets Science Communication Competition" where they gave talks to an audience and panel of judges about a Science topic of their choice.

Ajay treated us to a poetic and awe-inspiring talk on the "Sound - The Invisible Force That Shapes Our World"; Aryan delivered an engaging and creative talk on "Tiny Particles, Big Mysteries: The Basics of Quantum Physics"; and Sophie probed the question "Why aren't humans immortal?" in her talk, using a powerful model to illustrate her points."

All three students did incredibly well and should be commended for their hard work and fabulous presentations.
