Stem Racing (F1 in Schools) - World Finals

Tori Veloci, our most experienced F1 in Schools Team, travelled to Singapore last week accompanied by Mr Twose, to compete in the World Finals, representing the UK.
The team, comprising Sid, Arnav, Kaustubh, Shaun and Taran did incredibly well, ultimately finishing in 26th place, out of the 83 teams from 38 countries that were competing.
- this was out of the 180,000 teams that had competed world wide that year!
This really was a fantastic effort for the school's first time of competing at this event, against many schools and teams that have competed at this level before. The competition was incredibly tight - If one 50:50 scrutineering decision of 0.1mm had gone our way, we would have finished in the top 10!
Their performance was the result of several years of dedicated commitment and will most certainly be an inspiration to our younger F1 in Schools teams.
Huge thanks go to Mr Twose for supporting their endeavours and to all who made it possible for them to travel to the World Finals and compete in Singapore.
Well done Tori Veloci - we are incredibly proud of you!
