Artist of the Week

Year 8 students have been exploring portraiture this term through photography, drawing and painting. Ishaan (8L) created this monochromatic tonal portrait by digitally modifying his photograph to map the different tonal values of the face.

Ms Musselbrook's class are preparing to make tonal portraits. They have looked at the artist Shephard Fairey to create digital self portrait posters. Nathaniel's work in 8H demonstrates an excellent understanding of the bold colours and impactful compositions of Fairey's work.
