Fives update - January 2026

Well done to our U14’s Fives players who took part in an individual under 14 tournament alongside six other schools at Highgate yesterday including Ipswich, QEB,  Westminster, Highgate, St.Bartholomew’s Newbury, and Eton College.

All players were mixed in with a different partner and different opponents for each of six different one-set rounds.

It was very healthy to see the 46 pupils all mixed in and enjoying sport together as a group of schools rather than just one school against another as usual.

The standard was so high, that only four students managed to win their matches in all six rounds.
Pleasingly, they were all Olavians: Ivan, Kenzo and Mohit from Year 9, with Dhruv from Year 8.

Particular congratulations go to Ivan and Dhruv, who won the Final.
