Jenny and Thomas impress in National Youth Orchestra

If you were listening to Radio 3 at 7:30pm last night you would have caught this fantastic programme from the National Youth Orchestra. Jenny Wells in Year 13 was leading the orchestra and Thomas Blew in Year 12 was playing in the viola section.

The NYO Easter course pretty much took out the whole of their Easter breaks this year (until Good Friday), so to perform repertoire of this difficulty at this standard and with such fizzing energy is truly remarkable, and something that professional symphony orchestras aspire to emulate.

Congratulations to both Jenny and Thomas on their impressive musicianship.
