Olavian Community Spirit raises £7,724.41 for Charity

A year of significant and enthusiastic fundraising efforts towards our two chosen charities was marked this week with the presentation of cheques to two worthwhile organisations.

On Tuesday 29th April a cheque in the sum of £2,879.41 was presented to "For Refugees", which included monies raised during our Iftar Interfaith and Cultural Day Celebration events and the production of the Olavian Cultural Cookbook.

On Wednesday 30th April a cheque in the sum of £4,845.00 was presented "Bromley Homeless" Together with monies raised during Festival and Cabaret, over 60 students also overnight endured sleep outs and many volunteered at the Bromley Homeless emergency winter shelter.

Very well done to everyone involved, showing true Olavian spirit in their magnificent efforts in supporting the wider community.
