Wellbeing Week 26 -30 January 2026
To coincide with the school’s ninth Wellbeing Week, we are delighted to share the 9th edition of our Wellbeing Journal which is available to read via the following link alongside all previous editions:
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this journal in any way. Sharing their thoughts, ideas and experiences is a privilege, and is what makes this publication so meaningful. We are especially grateful and congratulate Year 13 Editor, Alicja Nowicka, whose dedication and commitment in bringing this journal together has been truly inspiring.
During this Wellbeing week, we welcomed TiE It Up Theatre Company to deliver their powerful production of Mark Wheeller’s play 'I Love You, Mum – I Promise I Won’t Die', the true story commissioned by the Daniel Spargo‑Mabbs Foundation. Year 10 and Sixth Form students engaged thoughtfully with this impactful piece, which encourages honest reflection on choices, risks, and keeping one another safe.
This powerful Theatre in Education production workshop has had a huge impact on audiences for the last eight years presenting 522 performances to over 90,000 teenagers.
Our own Wellbeing Practitioner, along with the Pastoral Team, are using this week as a time to further promote resilience and how this can support one’s own wellbeing. In addition, presentations are being given to Year 13 by Bromley Y.
Wellbeing Week is a Refresher Week for Years 7-10 where we encourage students to participate in activities they might not otherwise have, whilst no homework is set.
