This year’s HPQ Presentation Week offered a superb showcase of intellectual curiosity and independent scholarship. The Higher Project Qualification enables students to explore a self‑chosen research question in depth, developing advanced skills in enquiry, analysis and presentation.

FullSizeRender (1)We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs Attwood, Mr Elliot, and Mr Budds for overseeing the full programme of talks and supporting students throughout the week.

Across five afternoons, pupils presented on an impressive range of topics. Highlights included Hassan’s opening analysis of “Why has UK economic productivity stagnated since 2008?”, Sachin’s philosophical enquiry “Can logic and religious magic co‑exist?”, and Jimmy challenging audiences with “Sugar, the sweetest poison silently killing us all?”. Later in the week, Marzuq explored the ethical implications of automation in “Should AI be allowed to make decisions without human input?”, while Aidan closed the week with “Why is procrastination so powerful?”.

Our students delivered their ideas with confidence, clarity and genuine academic ambition. We congratulate all those who presented and thank the staff, parents and carers who attended and supported them.
