Over 30 students are currently enjoying the sights, history and culture of Japan, during this Activity Week Two.

A flavour of their week can be seen below; highlights of days 1 and 2 have included travelling to Tokyo Station, a visit to the Osaki Shrine, boat trip to Kesannuma, students making Furikake, Oyster boat fishing trip, evening chopstick challenge, origami challenge, tour of the fish markets, beach trip in Kesannuma and students' reflections on their trip to the Kesannuma Memorial Museum.

Days 3 and 4 experiences have included adding wishes to the Tanabata, listening to talks from survivors, visiting a model of the damaged Fukushima Power Plant and Ukedo Town and school remains, visiting the 'pitch where God resides' in J-Village, a walking tour of Futaba Town, meeting a survivor and his Olympic Relay Torch, a train journey to Iwaki Station and visiting the Metropolitan building in Tokyo.
