Williams Cup-Three Pair u18’s National Eton Fives

The senior Fives Team took part in what turned out to be a tremendously exciting contest for the William’s Cup; the U18’s three-pair National Eton Fives Team championship, which was hosted at the beautiful Charterhouse School in Surrey.

Our young team of year 11’s and 12’s, defeated strong teams from Ipswich School, Charterhouse and Eton College.

In the Final, St.Olave’s took an early lead and looked set for victory, but the Shrewsbury Team showed enormous tenacity and skill to slowly turn the tide and to eventually win by one point!

There were so many incredibly close matches, and our young team played brilliantly to come within a point of defending this trophy for what would have been the fourth year in a row. Congratulations to Oscar, Henry, Yifan, Aayan, Luke and Krivi.
