Artists of the Week - 20 March 2026

Year 9 artists are preparing for their cross-curricular Art and Poetry Day. The GCSE students will be leading their peers in workshops where they will be illustrating sections of The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. These are effective examples of ink used with watercolour to bring the characters and story to life.

Year 7 students have been exploring the Pop Art movement, investigating key artists and stylistic features. As part of this, they have been creating visually engaging mind maps to present their understanding—an excellent example of which can be seen in Ammar’s work from 7C.
