Semaine de la Francophonie 2026 - Day 1

Day 1 of our "Semaine de la Francophonie” celebrations were commenced by 7B this week with a challenging Asterix Escape Room activity that was against the clock !  As can been seen in the background, students had to find the various codes in this Escape Room to free the Obelix from the Louvre Museum where it was kept captive.

This activity required not only great teamwork from our Year 7 students, but also lots of Year 7 level language quizzes in French they had to solve to procure the correct number.

Meanwhile, students in other year groups studying French, engaged in a Zoom Call with Martinique Island as part of their Semaine de la Francophonie activities at lunchtime.
