Semaine de la Francophonie 2026 - Day 2

25 Mar 2026

The activities have continued today celebrating Semaine de la Francophonie 2026 through many year groups.

Students from KS3 played a game or 2 of “Pétanque” in the New Quad and our Year 10 class started to watch a film based on a true story: “Les Intouchables”, which is based on a true story and was adapted to the big screen from a biography which depicts the making of a strong friendship between two men of totally opposite backgrounds but both full of humour: the part of the carer is played by the famously French actor Omar Sy, also known for playing the part of Lupin in the series of the same name, on Netflix.

With more activities planned for tomorrow it's certainly been an extra  busy week so far, for the French Department.
