7B's French Day experience

7B have had a fun filled French day today. They started their day enhancing their Eurovision knowledge by finding out about the history of the Eurovision Song Contest. They also learnt about France's entry this year. 

After a good sing-song, the pupils expanded their understanding of cinema and its existence thanks to the Lumière brothers. They discovered the early inventions of cinema and were surprised by the advancements of cinema overtime.

Finally, 7B watched an acclaimed French film: Les Choristes. Pupils were captivated by the beauty and power of music all made possible thanks to the passion and dedication of an inspirational music teacher.

Overall, the day was a huge success and our pupils enriched their minds with lots of new, fun facts.
