Year 9 trip to Horniman Museum - May 2024

On Wednesday 20th May Year 9 travelled to the Horniman Museum.

Here, they took part in an Indonesian Gamelan workshop with Andy, a leading expert in the field. They were also able to visit the spectacular musical instrument collection they house there.

Aside from music-specific activities the students were able to enjoy some free time exploring the beautiful gardens (including the sound garden, prehistoric garden and sunken garden), take part in an Animal Walk, visit the World Gallery, library, temporary exhibits and the gift shop.

Many thanks to all the staff, both on the trip and those working behind the scenes at school, who contributed to the success of this activity.
