Huge congratulations to Oscar from Year 12 for being the national winner out of over 1900 entrants of Round 2 of this year’s Cambridge Biology Challenge organised by Homerton College.

There were over 1900 entries answering the question “Why is maths a ‘gift’ for biologists?’ His winning essay discussed the use of population modelling to predict the impact of wolf reintroduction to Scotland, on deer population.
