UCAS Day - 2026

Year 12 attended our UCAS day this week gaining valuable insights about all aspects of university application process from the University of Exeter's School and College Engagement Officer. Several Old Olavians, also answered questions on life in student accommodation, gave tips for finding a home in second and third years, adjusting to cooking and doing laundry for themselves and also the importance of considering the city and area when choosing a university 

The day also highlighted insights into international university rankings which are often research-based and don't reflect day to day undergrad teaching while UK-based rankings are more attuned to what their undergrad experience will be like.

This was a well received and immensely informative day for our Year 12s as they consider their higher education options and we are grateful to Sarah and all those who gave up their time to support this event.
