Year 8 Latin trip to Bignor Roman Villa - June 2026

The Year 8 Latin trip to Bignor Roman Villa took place during AW1 looking at the remains of one of the largest Roman mansions from the occupation of Britain during the mid-4th Century A.D.  Year 8 had a tour of the remains and learnt about its mythological mosaics, including the longest surviving in Britain (79 feet / 24 metres) finishing with a map reading challenge.

Ben, Jebishan, Nikhil and Avy all received prizes for their excellent effort and work during the day on the activities.
