Year 9 Wings of Hope Semifinalists

Congratulations to Rugved, Philip and Sparsh in year 9 who attended the Wings of Hope Award Semi-final last week in Central Hall Westminster. This was in celebration of the fundraising they have completed for the education of children in Malawi and India.

The boys shared the following account of their day: 
"We travelled to Central Hall, Westminster to deliver a 10-minute presentation in front of a panel of judges. We decided to go for a unique approach by presenting our fundraising journey as a BBC News report. With Rugved and Philip being anchors, and Sparsh taking on the roles of different people from our fundraising events and being interviewed by the news presenters.

It was a fantastic experience, and we had the opportunity to meet some of the judges including the founders of the Wings of Hope charity itself, Dr Sri Ram and Mrs Sri Ram, as well as other distinguished guests who were judges. Overall, it was just a really fun day!"
