Translating Success at Cambridge National Final

Following their success in the regional rounds, and months of preparation supported by Dr Pickett, two of our talented Year 8 linguists, Nikhil and Arjun, travelled on Wednesday, to the prestigious National Translation Bee Finals at the University of Cambridge. Competing against some of the strongest language students from across the country, they demonstrated impressive speed, accuracy and composure under pressure.

Beyond the competition itself, students enjoyed the atmosphere of Cambridge and meeting fellow language enthusiasts. We are incredibly proud of their achievement in reaching the national stage and Arjun achieved 5th place for German, in the country. Glückwunsch!
