SUMMER Term 2024 - Forthcoming Careers Talks:

Lunchtime Careers talks are held either via Teams or in person in the Chapel from 1pm.

On Tuesday 7 May we welcome Old Olavian, Max Costaras, for our last careers talk of the term. Max will speak to pupils about his career in civil engineering and the exciting projects he has worked on. This will be a valuable insight for students interested in routes into engineering. Max will talk about his work at Arup and his exciting new role in offshore wind.

All Olavians are welcome to attend the talk which will take place in the Chapel at 1pm.

Max Costaras Biography

Max left St Olave’s in 2015 and went on to study Civil Engineering at Southampton University. After working for Arup on a range of domestic and international projects, he decided to specialise in the creation of offshore wind farms. Max designs and transports wind turbines across the world. The turbines use wind power to create clean energy and therefore create a more sustainable future.
