Year 12 Flatford Mill Residential Fieldtrip 2026 - AW2

Our Year 12 Biologists travelled to in East Bergholt, Suffolk during this Activity Week 2 to attend a residential biology fieldtrip at the beautiful and historic Flatford Mill FSC Field Centre. Here they had a unique opportunity to engage with the ecology content of their A2 course,  a vital component of their A level course.

This trip has given students the opportunity to experience ecological investigations and sampling techniques for a wide range of living organisms in their natural habitat and to study a variety of habitats by providing meaningful examples to supplement the theory they were taught at the centre.
